President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has praised Chief Justice Anin Yeboah for his exceptional leadership of the Judiciary, stating that his tenure was marked by remarkable achievements. President Akufo-Addo expressed hope that future Chief Justices would continue to build on Chief Justice Anin Yeboah’s accomplishments. He commended the Chief Justice for upholding the independence of the Judiciary and bringing honor to the judicial system and the country.

During a farewell dinner organized by the Ghana Bar Association, President Akufo-Addo acknowledged the Chief Justice’s outstanding career, noting his rise to prominence and effectiveness in leading the Judiciary. He highlighted Chief Justice Anin Yeboah’s commitment to the Ghana Bar Association and his support during his term in office.

He also recognized the Chief Justice’s role in shaping jurisprudence, fostering reforms, and promoting accessible justice through infrastructural development.

Mr. Boafo shared personal anecdotes about his interactions with Chief Justice Anin Yeboah, underscoring his impactful guidance and expertise. He expressed gratitude for the Chief Justice’s support of the Ghana Bar Association and his commitment to justice and legal education. Mr. Boafo presented a citation to Chief Justice Anin Yeboah, acknowledging his distinguished service, integrity, and significant contributions to the democratic system, the legal profession, and the judiciary.

Chief Justice Anin Yeboah expressed his appreciation to the Ghana Bar Association for the honor bestowed upon him. He thanked the association for nominating him to the Bench and acknowledged the guidance and support he received from fellow legal professionals throughout his career. The Chief Justice expressed gratitude to former Chief Justice Georgina T. Wood for teaching him about judicial administration and thanked President Akufo-Addo and his colleagues on the Supreme Court for their cooperation and support during his tenure.
