Patriotic Youth In Ports (PYP) congratulates the government of His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo for not renewing the contract expired contract of West Blue Limited of Mrs. Valentina Mintah from the bloodline of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and whose company was birthed by former First Lady Lordina Mahama and her husband John Mahama.
This is the company what made some five financiers of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) loose their jobs at the ports under the John Mahama government and many PYP members in their hundreds were sacked from their places of work at the ports to go homes.
It was painful but we continued to work for the party interest and by the grace of God victory came to us and we are in government since 2017 but we cannot go back and work because of her company.
Now a better company called Ghana Link has brought a better system called UNIPASS at a time the contract of West Blue has ended and we are happy His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo did not renew her contract because she would use the profits against the NPP interests and campaign.
UNIPASS has promised to employ over 5000 members of PYP and we are fully in support of it.
500 of our members are already working for UNIPASS across the country and the remaining would start work soon.
We, the PYP members in the Ashanti Region, would start demonstrations and riots if we hear that the woman has been given another work to do.
But we are calm now because we have heard that she is going away for good.
UNIPASS has an end to end system that is the best in the world.
