I write to officially congratulate all the newly elected Parliamentary Candidates of the NPP in the Upper East Region and across the country during Saturday’s parliamentary primaries.
I have no doubt that with the calibre of people elected as parliamentary candidates in the various constituencies in the region, the party is right on course to snatching most of the orphan seats from the NDC.
I am thus hopeful that all the Parliamentary Candidates Elect will work hand in hand with the leadership of the party and party sympathizers to ensure that success becomes ours.
To all the aspirants who were not successful, I say better luck next time. It is a bitter pill to swallow but
swallowing it will make you resilient and therefore prepare you for the future. Take consolation in the fact that the primaries were successful and therefore the real winner is the NPP.
I also want to use this opportunity to preach internal unity among party faithfuls in the region. There is so much work to be done and we must be seen working together towards attaining our collective objective as one family. This can only be possible if we act in unison and sense of purpose. With that, our quest to winning or snatching overwhelming majority of the parliamentary seats in the region from the NDC will become much easier.
Obviously, in view of the monumental development programmes and projects rolled out by our government, there is enough conviction that the good people of the Upper East Region will to give their mandate to the respective parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the governing party.
Once again, congratulations to all the Parliamentary Candidates Elect, the delegates of the region and the rank and file of the Upper East NPP for this great service to the party. May almighty Allah continue to bless our party and country and make us even greater and stronger.
ALHAJI MOHAMMED MURTALA IBRAHIM
Immediate Past Upper East Regional Chairman, NPP
