The Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, Mr. Frederick Opare Ansah over the weekend held a get-together with his constituents at the Suhum main lorry station.

The event dubbed “the MP’s Soup Kitchen’’ was organized to provide opportunity for his constituents particularly those with Kwahu lineage who could not make it to Kwahu this year to celebrate Easter in their home towns, to also make merry while in Suhum.
The event attracted several hundreds of the electorates in the constituency as well as some colleague MPs.
Police Cells Inmates 

Meanwhile, police cell  inmates within the constituency  were also not left out of the MP’s maiden edition of the ‘Easter Soup kitchen’

On Monday 22nd April 2019, Mr. Opare-Ansah went to Suhum and Nankese police  station to feed the inmates who could not make it to the program.

He used the opportunity to advice and motivate them.

Free Health Screening
The program was preceded with a health walk and free health screening exercises which were patronised by close to 5000 people.

About 10,000 people were also registered for free on the National Health Insurance Scheme by the MP.
The Chief of Suhum, Osabarima Ayeh Kofi who was chairman for the occassion hailed the MP for organising such event with the motive of uniting his constituents.
