Zanetor Ayemang-Rawlings, politician and daughter of the late ex-president, Jerry John Rawlings, has announced to Ghanaians the demise of her father.
In a press Release, Ms Rawlings indicated that her father passed away this morning (November 12, 2020) following a short illness. However, different sources have confirmed that former President Jerry John Rawlings died of covid-19 at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, at the age of 73.
Ms Rawlings asked that Ghanaians give the family privacy at this difficult time. She further indicated that details of the funeral arrangement would be announced to the public in due time.
