At least some 125 persons have currently gained permanent employment, exiting the Nations Builders Corp (NABCO) programme in the Nsawam/Adoagyiri Municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, who disclosed this at a town hall meeting facilitated by Ark development organization at Hebron in the Ankwa Dobro electoral area, said this number is from the total of 314 persons who were enrolled on the program in the Municipality.

To this effect, the MCE says, he is currently seeking for approval to replace the 125 persons who have exited the programme with new graduates.

He noted that the Municipality has benefitted tremendously from other government policies and programs adding the government shall continue to make priorities of the ordinary Ghanaian its first objective.

He stated that all policies and programs initiated by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government are geared towards alleviating the burden and hardship on Ghanaians adding that the government is on course with its policies and programs.

Town hall meeting

Executive Director of Ark Development oOrganization, Emmanuel Kwafo Mintah, underscored the relevance of the town hall meeting saying it is very important in nation building as it affords the opportunity for the gap between the citizenry and duty bearers to be bridged to ensure nation building.

He added that, they shall continue, as an NGO, to facilitate programs that will enable the citizenry to understand all governments policies and help them understand where and when to access them.
