On the 18th of May, 2019, The delegates of the New Patriotic Party in the Bono East region, converged at JEMA the district capital of kintampo south to exercise their democratic franchise.
The elections which was characterised with conspicuous democratic values witnessed the presence of National, regional and local constituency executives across the region. To many, the silent benefit of this political leadership restructuring is imbedded in the innumerable blessings that had come with the creation of the NEW Regions in the country by H. E Nana Addo Danqua Akuffo Addo.
The maiden leadership comprise of:

4 Limann Seidu MAHAMA – Assistant Secretary
5 Daniel OWUREDU – Youth Organizer
6 Sophia DANSO – Women’s Organizer
7 Martha Baffoe BOAHEMAA – Treasurer
8. Musah SULEMANA – Organizer
In a media interaction with the newly elected team, the Bono East NPP regional secretary, Mr David Boakye urged all the contestants who had wrangled among themselves during the campaign moments to bury their differences for the good of the party.
Mr. David Boakye took the opportunity to thank all the delegates, constituency executives,National executives and the electoral commission for supervising free and fair elections.
