On Thursday, September 1, and Friday, September 2, 2022, the National Women’s Wing of the New Patriotic Party, together with the Conservative party, UK, organized a special Women’s Empowerment Conference for the women’s wing of the NPP.
The women were trained on various topics including Campaign Training and Financing, ie: how to raise funds for a campaign, managing campaign finances, branding, imaging, and messaging by female politicians, among other strategic topics.
The National Women Organiser of the NPP, Kate Gyamfua, used the opportunity to reiterate the vision of the women’s wing in leading the ‘breaking the 8’ agenda of the party. She urged the women to let the knowledge gained from the workshop guide them in developing tailor-made strategies that would help the party win more votes in their various localities.
