The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Yapei-Kusawgu, Abu Kamara, has died in a car crash last night .
He was returning to Tamale after a campaign tour when the incident happened.
Report says Mr Kamara crashed into an articulated truck and died on the spot.
He is the second NPP Parliamentary candidate to have died in less than two weeks following the gruesome murder of Ekow Hayford MP and Parliamentary Candidate for Mfatseman.
Mr Kamara’s death also brings to three, the number of PCs in both NPP and NDC to have died with less than three months into the general election.
