The Electoral Commission (EC) has dismissed speculations of refusing to honour invitation to parliament in order to present their roadmap for the December 7 polls.
The EC has explained in a Press Release that the said invitation letter came-in ‘after office hours on Wednesday the 4th of November 2020. At the time, some commission members were out of Accra and this was communicated to the Leadership of Parliament’.
The Commission reiterated its commitment to always work with the August House ‘for a peaceful and successful conduct of Election 2020’
The said roadmap will be laid before Parliament on Saturday the 7th of November 2020.
