John Kumah

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), John Ampontuah Kumah, who is aspiring to become the governing New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, says this is his time to lead his people into development.

The NEIP CEO says his focus for seeking for the position is to create opportunities for the youth of the area and to bring the much needed development that has eluded them over the years back to them.

The private legal practitioner believes his successful handling of the NPP’s flagship youth oriented programme, NEIP, puts him in a better position to be able to help people in his area, when given the nod.

Under his leadership, NEIP has trained 7000 young people and given them startup capital to start life. In 2018, under the Presidential Business Support Programme, 1350 beneficiaries were supported with funds ranging from GhC10, 000.00 to GhC100, 000.

Speaking to the media over the weekend, Mr Kumah noted that with his experience in life as a young man, he has the wherewithal, the stature, the credibility, the personality and the sincerity to lead his people.
