The Association of Lotto Marketing Companies has pledged its commitment to working with stakeholders in the lottery industry, including the regulator, National Lottery Authority (NLA), to serve as a continuous major source of revenue for the government.
The Association also expressed its readiness to work with KGL Technology as well as employees of the NLA to achieve their aim.
A press release signed by the National Chairman of the Association, Daniel Mensah, particularly commended efforts by KGL Technology Limited to support the NLA in paying outstanding lottery wins, describing the move as timely.
“The cumulative effect of the prize payment deficits runs into millions of Ghana Cedis, culminating in agitations and protestations of the Staff, the Association members and the staking public,” it said.
It therefore commended the management of KGL Technology Limited for the timely intervention in “releasing funds to the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for the payment of outstanding wins since April 2020.”
“This, in the view of the Association, is a sign of good leadership to calm nerves down in the lottery industry.
“It is heartwarming and commendable to hear that KGL Technology Limited has stepped in to bail out the NLA in this circumstance by clearing all the outstanding debts emanating from the unpaid winning,” it added.

KGL Technology Limited is an online lotto marketing company duly licensed by the National Lottery Authority(NLA), with the mandate of operating the official short code of NLA *959# to mobilise revenue for the government, and for national development.
Management of the licensed online lotto marketing company recently announced that it would soon release funds to the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to enable the regulator pay outstanding winning draws.
A statement from the company indicated that the move followed a unanimous decision with the leadership of Financial Business and Services Employees Union (FBSEU) of GF L and the NLA, through its finance directorate.
The payment of the money is expected to help calm nerves and reduce the tension at the NLA.
