Ghanaian music star KiDi has staged a sold-out concert in London, marking his first solo headline show in the United Kingdom and another milestone in his growing international career.
The concert, held at Outernet Live, saw the award-winning singer perform some of his biggest hits alongside songs from his latest album, Where Do We Go From Here.
The packed venue came alive as fans sang and danced along to several of the singer’s popular records, with videos from the event showing an enthusiastic audience responding to his performances.
The London show formed part of activities promoting Where Do We Go From Here, giving KiDi an opportunity to present his latest body of work directly to his international audience.
Star-Studded Performances
KiDi was joined on the night by Tanzanian music star Harmonize, Ghanaian rapper Flowking Stone and UK-based music group The Compozers.
OgeeTheMC hosted the concert, while Ghanaian dancer Dancegod Lloyd and his team added dance performances to the night’s entertainment.
The sold-out concert represents a significant step in KiDi’s efforts to expand his presence beyond Ghana and connect with audiences in other markets.
It also comes on the back of the release of Where Do We Go From Here, the singer’s third studio album, which was released in August.
The project forms the latest chapter in the career of the Lynx Entertainment artiste, who has built a catalogue of popular songs over the years and increasingly taken his music to audiences outside Ghana.
