The National Service Secretariat has opened application for eligible private applicants who wish to register for national service this year.
The application according to the management of the National Service Secretariat closes on Friday 29th March 2019.
Eligible applicants are to submit their application letters to any regional secretariats of the Scheme. Applicants from the Greater Accra, can however submit their letters to the NSS head office in Accra.
In a statement released by NSS, “all application letters must be accompanied by an introductory or attestation letters, certified true copy of all academic certificates or transcript from accredited tertiary institutions attended, school I.D cards and copy of any legal national ID card.”
The National Service Act 1980(Act 426) mandates every Ghanaian who is 18years and above and have acquired a tertiary certificate to go through national service as an obligation to the state.
Diaspora Application
The management of NSS has also asked international students who want to enroll as part of the NSS diaspora program to upload their travelling passport and other supporting documents on the NSS website, www.nss.gov.gh.
