A Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), LEYLA Images have saved a a 25-year old woman who gave birth to the first triplets at the New Mother and baby care unit of the St. Martin De Porres Hospital at Agomanya.
Ms. Helena Apreku was kept at the hospital due to her inability to settle her hospital bill. Again, the management of the hospital kept her at the place because it came to their attention that the woman had no one who will help her with the up keep of the kids.
According to reports, since the lady gave birth, it has been the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Stephen Kusi, who has been making money available for the feeding of the babies who cannot survive on only breast milk.
Distress Call
This caused the staff of the hospital to place a distress call to the NGO.
Barely an hour after team LEYLA Images received the call, they responded to the situation by donating an undisclosed amount of Money and a bag of baby diapers to support in taking care of the triplets and their mother.
They assured the hospital of their commitment to support them in taking care of the kids.
