The Education and Democratization Secretary of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and an Assembly Member aspirant for the Elubo Electoral Area at Enchi in the Western North Region, Solomon Cudjoe, has presented about 1000 exercise books and other stationery to all Junior High Schools in his community.
The presentation according to Mr. Cudjoe was to give back to society because “I don’t have to hold position in the society before I give and also as a teacher and an educationist, education is one of my priorities”.
Advice
Speaking to the students, he advised them to take thier studies seriously and also requested for thier prayers.
He assured them of greater things in the years ahead should he be elected as the Assembly Member.
Appreciation
The students expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture. They promised to convince their parents to remember him during the election since it is the first time any such donations have been done for them.
