The Member of Parliament for Akuapem South, OB Amoah, has presented medical supplies to the municipal health directorate at Aburi in the Eastern Region.

The items include overalls, nose masks, gloves, sanitizers, liquid soap, tissues and thermometers.

The MP also made a cash donation of GHC10, 000 to support the municipality’s fight against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, more donations continue to pour in for the Covid-19 National Trust Fund set up by President Akufo-Addo.

On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, the Ghana Exim Bank, led by its Board Chairman, Mr Gyamfi Boateng, and the Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Agyinsam, also presented an amount of GHC 250,000.00 to support the fund.

Others who made similar donations include the Social Security & National Insurance Trust, which contributed an amount of GHC500, 000.00. The presentation was led by the Trust’s Board Chairman, Dr Kwame Addo Kufuor, and the Director General, Dr Ofori Tenkorang.

The Ghana Used Clothing Association, led by its chairman, Mr Boakye Yiadom, also donated an amount of GHC 300,000.00 to the fund.

Others include Ghana Gas, 1,000,000.00; NPP Volta Region, GHC 100,000.00; Anglican Church of Ghana, GHC 60,000.00; Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund, GHC 500,000.00; and BELAQUA Water (Blow Group of Companies), which contributed a sum of GHC 500,000.00.
