The National Youth Authority (NYA), as part of its ‘Covid-19 Youth Campaign’, has donated assorted essential medical equipment to the Ministry of Health in support of Ghana’s efforts at combating the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Mr Sylvester Tetteh, was joined by Francisca Oteng Mensah, Board Chair, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), Board member and National Youth Organiser of NPP, Nelson Owusu Ansah, Deputy Chief Executive, and some directors during the presentation of the items.

The items, worth GHC700, 000, include 200,000 gloves, 2000 cardinal health PPEs, 1000 re-useable PPEs, 400 googles, 5000 hand sanitizers and many other essential items.

The Minister of Health, Kweku Agyeman Manu and his team were grateful to the National Youth Authority for the timely support.

The Authority recently launched the ‘Covid 19 Youth Campaign’, through which it is seeking to rally the youth to offer the needed support for government’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
