The Ashanti Regional Police has launched a search for four people who are alleged to have shot two people killing one of them at the office of the National Democratic Congress in Kumasi.

The four are Husein Barnabas, also known as Warrior, Mijima, Damos, and Abu Taliban.

The four are alleged to have shot two members of the opposition National Democratic Congress Killing one in the process when the National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and the Regional Executive Committee met at the regional office to solve some party internal issues in the region.

Report suggests that, the assailants who are known members of the NDC vigilante group, the Hawks, shot their colleague party man thrice. First in the leg while he runs and twice in the chest at close range leading to his death.

The deadly attack also led to one severely injured.

According to reports, the injured man suffered from internal bleeding and is scheduled to undergo surgery.

The crime scene has since been cordoned off by the Ashanti Regional Police as investigations into the incident has begun.
