Ghana has recorded four more cases of COVID 19.

This brings to six, the total number of cases reported in the country.

This was announced by Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director of Public Health at Ghana Health Service, at a press briefing to update citizens on the outbreak of the Novel 2019 (COVID-19) in the country this afternoon.

The government said three of the cases were recorded in Accra while one other was recorded in the Ashanti Region.

 

Restrictions

Government has therefore intensified traveling restrictions to and out of the country.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says travelers from countries with more than 200 confirmed cases have been banned from entering Ghana. He added that all new travelers into the country henceforth shall undergo 14 days mandatory quarantine.
