The Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin made time to visit the Wa Central Market.
He was in the market to interact with the traders especially the women, butchers and traders at the disability centre
He listened to their plight and conditions of doing business. He assured the market women of raising more pavilions to accommodate more of them, Whilst admonishing those who already have gotten allocations at the new market, to be prepared and accept to move there very soon. Since the usage of the market is a conditionality for further funding from donor partners.
He also took time to visit the disability centre in the market to inspect renovation works he had started there to improve on the working conditions of traders and entrepreneurs living with disability.
The market women and traders expressed gratitude and appreciation for the kind gesture of the MCE for visiting and interacting with them.
