Ghanaian movie on suicide titled ‘Who caused it’ has made it to the list of movies to be screened at the MOYEE Short Film Festival.

The short film directed by Dorcas Fumey will be screened alongside other short films from Ghana, South Africa and Uganda on Friday, 29th March.

Constance Amofa who played the lead role in the movie expressed her joy at the massive attention and reception that the movie is currently enjoying. “I am not surprised that the movie has been selected for screening, right from the onset the crew knew what they wanted and worked towards that, this is just the reward for the quality work we produced,” she said.

Speaking about her role, the young actress described her experience on set as an interesting one. “I loved the whole concept of the movie, I had to do a lot of crying which I know is quite difficult for most actors and actresses but I did my best,” Constance added.

The film “Who caused it” is a short movie on suicide that hopes to educate the public on the realities of suicide and how it can be prevented.
