Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu
A group that describes itself as “a propaganda group set up to propagate the good gospel according H.E J.D. Mahama and NDC” and calls itself “Buffalos of NDC” has called on the appointment Committee of Parliament to reject Minister of Health-designate, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, when he appears before it.
According to the group, it has taken “notice of the failure of the Minister of Health in managing of COVID-19 information as compared to the Director General (DG) Dr Patrick Kuma ABOAGYE who has been leading the crusade against the fight of COVID-19.”
In a statement signed by Alhaji Obideaba Jnr, Public Relations Officer of the group, it stated that “the Ministry under his supervision has totally failed to update the President on the actual data and current happenings on the second wave of COVID-19, which has resulted in the President giving directives that do not correspond to figures.”
“The Group has taken notice of the failure of the Minister who is also a Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central as he has failed to protect his fellow parliamentarians from contracting the COVID-19 virus.
“COVID 19 as a public health crises has exposed the gross incompetence of the Minister in managing the health crises which has affected all aspect of the Economy,” it said.
