The Ministry of Education has clarified that there is “no policy from either the ministry or Ghana Education Service which disqualifies teachers who earned certificates through distance learning from teaching” in Public Senior High Schools in the country.
There was hullabaloo in the country over a supposed policy disqualifying teachers who earned their certificate from distance learning from teaching in Public SHS.
But in a release from the Ministry signed by Ekow Vincent Assafuah, the Public Relations Officer, the ministry stated that no such policy has come from them.
