Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited on Saturday 15th June, 2019 held a successful 38th Annual General meeting of Shareholders at the Auditorium of the Pentecost Church, Abanse in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
This special occasion in the operations of the bank saw great dignitaries from the banking sector as board members and management members of other Rural Banks in the region and the country at large joined the Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited fraternity for a successful event.
Okpatakla Sasraku IV, Divisional Chief of Manya Aklomuase and Nene Tettey-Ku Gbadaji I, Asofoatse of Agbom Akotobabi with other Traditional leaders made up a high powered traditional representation at the AGM.
The board Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Benjamin Tetteh Apo in his address applauded the support of their charished and committed shareholders for standing firm behind the bank during the crisis periods in the banking sector as the Management of the Bank are working hard to sustain the growth rate of the bank to aim them more dividends on their shares as he entreated the entire gathering to bank with the Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited which is the best family banking Centre.
Mr. Alex Awuah, Deputy Manager of Apex Bank Ghana Limited in his address as the Guest speaker commended the Manya Krobo Rural Bank Limited for performing extremely well during the financial crisis period in the country and also for being loyal to their cherished shareholders for maintaining the dividends rates despite the fall in their bank’s profit.
He continued to advise the general public against panic panic withdrawals which is affecting some of the Rural banks in the country as he assured the general public that all the Rural Banks in the country are safe to do business with them.
Mr. Edmund Tawiah Ohipeni, CEO of bank informed the shareholders and all other stakeholders present at the 38th Annual General meeting of some of the innovative initiatives undertaken by the bank to make banking easier for their charished customers and notable among in the installation of GHLink ATM machines at all their branches as some are completed and others will be completed soon. He advised the customers and shareholders to get to all their branches to request for their ATM cards for easy access to their money in times of financial emergencies.
