The singer and sound engineer Emmanuel Akwasi Boateng known as M’blaqque has released what he calls the original version of Kojo Antwi’s “adiepena”.
According to him, comparing the sound and voice quality of his version of “adiepena” to that of the Kojo Antwi’s version, he can say that his is far better and advanced.
Speaking to Odiyifo Yaw Charles, he said even though he recorded the song some two years ago, he was reluctant to release the song until some individuals listened and motivated him to do so.
He stated that the track is not against the copyright act since it is just a rendition of the song “adiepena”. He has therefore thrown a challenge to the youth to emulate the legends now that they are alive and shouldn’t wait until their demise.
