The National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has donated to different groups of people at Sakora Wonoo, the hometown of the late former NPP General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie.

The donation, which was done as part of activities to celebrate the birthday of the NPP Youth Organiser, was held at Sakora Wonoo in memory of Sir John, as the late former NPP General Secretary was affectionately called.

The items donated include bags of rice, bags of sugar, boxes of cooking oil, boxes of canned fish, cartons of milk, assorted drinks and an undisclosed amount of money.

The beneficiaries included widows, orphans, the disabled, among other needy individuals.

Akufo-Addo victory

Nana B, as the NPP Youth Organiser is popularly called, urged the people of the town to work hard to ensure a massive second-term victory of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the governing party.

He said the best form of honour the people can give to Sir John’s memory is to help his dream of seeing an Akufo-Addo second-term victory materialise in order for the government to continue with the implementation of its life-changing policies.

He urged the people to go out in their numbers to register in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise in order to be able to vote come December 7.

The NPP National Youth Organiser was accompanied by MP for Kwabre East constituency, Fransisca Oteng Mensah; the Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Osei Assibey Bonsu; NPP Ashanti Regional Organiser, Adomako Francis; Kwabre East NPP Constituency Chairman, Opoku Agyeman Bonsu, among other party faithful.
