Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, a parliamentary aspirant of the NPP in the Sunyani East constituency, has reminded the people of Sunyani about the need to adhere to the various protocols being put out by government and the World Health Organisation in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease.

“Even as we prepare ourselves for the election of a parliamentary candidate for our constituency, that is Sunyani East, let us all remember to strictly abide by the safety protocols and guidelines set for us by government and WHO regarding COVID-19 so that, together, we can win the fight against this virus”, Mr Tuah-Yeboah said in his Easter message to NPP delegates in Sunyani East.

The private legal practitioner called on his party delegates, and Ghanaians at large, to use the occasion to step up their prayers “for our dear country, the government and the world at large for victory over COVID-19.”

“Even though church services have been suspended in Ghana and, indeed several other parts of the world, as part of measures to control the spread of COVID-19, Christians all over the world, notwithstanding, are celebrating Easter, even in their homes and in various forms,” he said in his message.

“As we celebrate this occasion, my prayer is that may the miracle of Easter and the resurrection power of Jesus bring us inner peace, joy, happiness and love that last forever.”

Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah also asked God to keep the delegates and Ghanaians in general “away from misfortunes, devious people and evil tongues and may we also become victorious in all our endeavours.”
