Popular Gospel Musician Ms. Esther Boakye popular known as Mama Esther has denied report that she has been involved in an accident and died.
Social media and a section of the media were inundated by report that the ‘Way3 Lucky’ hit maker had been involved in an accident on the Takoradi road and died on Saturday Evening.
The report suggested that Mama Esther was attending a funeral at Takoradi with one Bright when the unfortunate incident occurred.
When the Evening Mail contacted a very close friend of Mama Esther about the incidence, he denied the report.
Subsequently, Mama Esther in a video has also denied the death rumours.
In the video, Mama Esther said “Abusuafo, this is Mama Esther, I have been receiving calls that I am dead. Please disregard the said calls. I am in the house and I am doing very well.”
Meanwhile report available to the Evening Mail has it that, though Mama Esther was not part of the accident, the accident indeed occurred and the said Bright who is said to be an underground gospel artiste died in the accident.
Mama Esther is noted for her inspirational songs including popular songs like Goliath Beko, Way3 lucky and Time Nk)e.
